Documentary about the protests that took place in Brazil in June 2013, after the announcement of the annual rise of public transportation costs. Millions of people took it to the streets and social media to express their extreme discontent and indignation towards the government. Popular pressure managed to reverse the measures in most cities, as well as to push Dilma Rousseff, President at the time, to propose a political reform for the country. This film contains interviews with heavy-weight Brazilian philosophers Vladimir Safatle and Renato Janine, economist Luiz Gonzaga Belluzzo, political scientist Sergio Amadeu, and Marcelo Hotimsky, one of the members of Movement Passe Livre. They discuss the products and consequences of the protests and how it could affect Brazil’s future.
