For a year I was responsible for assisting with the ideation and production of twenty events for CartaCapital, a Brazilian politics, economics and culture magazine. These gatherings usually debated relevant issues of the country, such as security, transportation, and sustainability, always with the presence of important figures, as politicians, academics, and business owners. On
average, big events ranged between 200 and 400
attendants, and smaller ones from 50 to 150. My role as assistant encompassed budgeting, scheduling and dealing with service providers, as well as overseeing marketing campaigns on the magazine’s website and social media. For smaller events, I was also responsible for part of the ideation of possible themes, debate participants, and prospecting of new venues and partnerships.
